Class Information

Our classes are tailored to the student and our small group sessions allow us optimum time with the student. 

Our philosphy centres around teaching our students the skills to not only create their own visual art works but to help them problem solve and come up with their own solutions to issues that arise. We help the student fully understand the materials they use by exploration and experimentation as well as gaining an understanding of visual art terminology.

To enable us to get the best fit for your student our preference is that you complete this expression of interest form.  We will be in touch on receipt of the form to find the best fit for your needs.

We follow a sanitation regime and have a student guideline to follow in regard to health and safety of our students and staff.

Creative Kids Vouchers

You can use your creative kids vouchers with us.

You may use your $100 voucher for your term class fees, school holiday activities or special events only.

We are a Creative Kids Approved Provider - register for your Creative Kids Voucher - and use it with us.

Online Classes

We have an online class option for those who are unable to come to the studio or prefer to work online.

Online classes are run during opening hours, otherwise, class prices are charged at private class rates.

Class Pricing

All classes will be charged at $22 per hour for the first hour, then $7.50 for every half hour after that regardless of medium being used.

eg: -  1 hour $22, 1.5 hours $27.50, 2 hours $33, etc

You will then be required to purchase a material pack or bundle depending on the medium being used.  Please note these are bundles that are only available for those participating in classes -

- Drawing pack - either for a drawing only class or a mixed class - $10, this includes an A4 visual diary (paper) and a pencil set (6 drawing pencils, eraser and sharpener) - this will last the student 2 terms approximately and can be left at the studio or taken home each week.  The student is responsible for bringing their materials each week.

- Watercolour pack - either for watercolour painting (on paper) or a mixed class -  use of our brushes and paint, $15 per term, alternatively a paint set, brushes and paper pack is $20, This includes enough watercolour paper for the term.  The paint and brushes will last approx 12 months depending on use, extra paper packs can be purchased for $5 per term.

- Acrylic painting - this will be priced at a per canvas price - the cost below is inclusive  of the paint and use of implements (brushes, sponges, etc) as well as the canvas.  The cost of the canvas pack will be added to your invoice when the student starts the project.  The number of canvases per term completed depends on the size of the canvas, the complexity of the work and how fast the student works.  

- 20 x 20 cm or 20 x 25 cm canvas - $10 per canvas

- 25 x 30 cm - $15 per canvas

- 30 x 40 cm - $20 per canvas

- 40 x 50 cm - $25 per canvas

These packs are only available to students who have classes with us, we have other bundles available for those that don't take regular classes.    Please note: Creative kids vouchers cannot be used for material bundles, which is why they are itemised separately on the invoices. Creative kids vouchers can only be offset against class prices.  

Preschool Playtime classes are - $30 per hour (materials included - this includes craft materials and watercolour materials)

We will send you an invoice once we have confirmed the booking, you can pay through the invoice portal through PayPal, we have EFTPOS and cash services at the studio, our online store takes Paypal, plus we offer Direct debit services.
